Job Description:
The credit derivatives operations team is seeking an analyst or an associate to build and foster a relationship with clients of the firm in order to effectively mitigate the operational risk associated with the trade execution and clearance process. This relationship involves managing various aspects of the trade life and coordinating issues with sales/trading and other areas of the firm. Economic Confirmation of Trades (verbal, email, or DTCC) Trade documentation coordination Liaising with client and Sales/Traders when contract disputes arise through the confirmation process (verbal or written) DTCC trade confirmation discrepancy resolution Pre-Settlement confirmations Overall account relationship management. Schedule periodic meetings with counterparties to review outstanding issues and upcoming workload. Project involvement for development and enhancement of existing internal IT infrastructure and industry initiatives.
